Although Prague has millions of visitors every year, there are still many amazing sights hidden from the typical tourist routes. Each one of them has a great story to tell, so let’s skip the crowded streets and learn some fun facts about all the sights and buildings, built centuries ago.
Start your tour on the Old Town Square and stay there for a couple of minutes, so that you’ll get a brief introduction into the history of Prague over the last millennium. Right after that, dive into several back alleys around the square, going through the Týn Court and taking a quick look at two gorgeous churches. These churches were very important for the royal family of Luxembourg. Your next step will lead you to a square, which was once the biggest square in the world – the Charles Square. This landmark has also many stories to tell – the beginning of Hussite wars by the first Prague defenestration, as well as the American bombing of Prague in 1945. On the other side of the square is the Emmaus Monastery – one of the few places with an original and genuine gothic style. You’ll also hear a story of how a part of the monastery was blown to pieces by an American bomb dropped on the monastery’s church.

Lastly, This will lead you to a place where the Bohemian king history started – the old medieval fortress called Vyšehrad. You can end our tour enjoying the amazing panoramic views of the river and the Prague city center underneath you.
